Ambassadors are short-term volunteers who assist in promoting the Respite mission of providing specialized care for children with developmental disabilities. By reaching out to the community and spreading the word about how Respite supports children and families in Larimer County Ambassadors are an invaluable part of our organization.
While there are many ways to volunteer with Respite Care, Ambassadors make the biggest impact. As an Ambassador, you are asked to bring approximately 10 people in for a one-hour tour. Tours provide a unique opportunity to see our home, learn more about the enrichment programs and services, and meet our incredible staff and kiddos. You can invite your friends, family, co-workers, book club, bowling league, soccer team, etc. Guests will not be asked for money during the tour.
Tours are scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. We are happy to coordinate a more convenient time or place to better accommodate your group.
