Thank you for considering Respite Care for a donation of materials for our program! To ensure that we are meeting state child care licensing requirements, we can only accept new items. Any toys should be sturdy and free of parts that pinch. If you have other ideas than the items listed below, please call us and we are happy to discuss Respite Care’s needs and how you can help!
We are unable to accept: used items (including car seats and cribs), food items, stuffed animals, items with small parts (such as beads), items with violent themes (such as toy weapons, violent video games, etc.)
We love to accept and always need: Crib sheets, markers (non-toxic), crayons (non-toxic), paint (non-toxic, washable), paint brushes, bubbles, chalk, Play-Doh, batteries, Fisher Price play sets, Connect Four, Guess Who, Uno, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders.
Do you want to support Respite Care as you grocery shop? It’s as simple as this – log into your King Soopers or City Market account and search for Respite Care Inc (or use the code FY860) under the “Community Rewards” tab, and click “enroll”. Then, every time you grocery shop with your loyalty card, King Soopers / City Market donates a portion of the sales to Respite Care!
Respite Care has a personalized wish list for items for our building, for programming, and for other needs for our staff and kiddos. Call our Office Manager at 970-207-9435 with any questions about the list!
