Below are resources that are available to you to help pay for Respite Care. Signing up for these programs benefits all of us! It reduces the costs at home for you and allows Respite timely and consistent payment.
Foothills Gateway is a nonprofit organization in Fort Collins that has lots of services for adults with disabilities, but also helps cover costs related to caring for a child with a disability (including respite!) through their Family Support Services Program (FSSP). There is NO income limit to this program.
EasterSeals of Colorado has a program called the Colorado Respite Coalition. This program gives out Family Vouchers that help pay for respite! The application is short and easy. Click the link below to learn more about the program and sign up for their mailing list for the announcement of the next voucher cycle.
Lastly, a resource that is vital to many in our community is the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP). This is a state funded program that pays for child care hours for families based on income. Please review the income limits. You may be surprised to find that you may qualify as they have increased the thresholds due to cost of living. Please reach out to the county with questions:
